The first, if cropped just a bit on top to get rid of that bright spot. The other one has an interesting "look" but it's just too washed out on the wall.

Have you noticed any pincushion distortion from this lens? The side walls look like they're bulging in the middle.

I didn't notice that before. I'll look at the other shots I took and see if they have a similar problem.
About the crop, yeah, I should probably get rid of the blown out area or try to fix it.

I like the first one the best.
When I see this picture, I think of abandoned things, dark, dreary, one of those places where you are a bit scared to just be standing there even though there is nothing particularly scary about what is in front of you. But there is that sense of uncertainty about what lurks in the shadows.
For me, the first one portrays that sense to me better--although to be honest, I'm not sure I'm crazy about the warm yellow tone of it.

The second one just has too much light for how I otherwise feel about the photo.

I like number one. It feels like it has a bit more dark contrast, which I think fits the scene better.

I like the first because of the lighting and color; although I'm getting used to the washed-out look, I'm not overly fond of it. And as to the thread title: anytime!

I agree .. you are off your rocker lol
I like # 2 becz it isolates the . desk(?) a bit better but the colors and details seem a bit washed out and a bit too bright for my tastes. But it is more artsy than # 1
They're both good photos in their own different ways.

The muted colors of the second one don't pack the same punch as the rich colors in #1, so it loses some of its appeal. It also looks a mite soft (though that might be intentional). Love the mood and colors of the first one - but agree it could be stronger if the small blown area on the top was edited. Nice work!
