Playful fawn

[rocdoc]

First outing ever with a stabilized tele zoom lens for me. This guy and a brother were playing next to the parking lot, as I was rushing to chase the setting sun. Stopped and took a bunch of shots of them instead.
Very impressed with the Tamron 70-300 USD VC lens, great optics and the stabilization is nothing short of sorcery

Thank you for looking. Any comments appreciated.

It's cute... How far off was it?

Thanks for the comment sniperbob. While this is taken fully extended at 300 mm (450 equivalent), he was actually pretty close. I didn't have much to crop for this view. They were playing very close to me, after spending a bit of time moving slowly close to the ground they got so used to me they were coming almost arm length. That said, this is shot at 1/80, 450mm equivalent distance, so I'm pretty happy with the VC on this lens!

Very nice....good composition.

Adorable. I like how one ear is bigger than the other (or appears to be)
