I grabbed my camera while checking off the truck this morning. I may go back and PS some clouds in to add some depth and reduce the amount of blue sky.

Yup very real. The CPL gave it a surreal kind of feel. I had one shot that the pole seemed to glow. It looked really strange. The sun is coming up over the station to the left of the flag giving pretty harsh side lighting. Thanks for the input.

Photoshop. I masked the flag and the ladder and pasted a shot of a cloudy sky in. Pretty simple once you get the hang of it.

Haha. Yeah I can see that. I guess you can take whatever message you want from it. It kinda looks like some stock photo's I've seen. You can always add whatever quote you wanted to it. LOL

I seem to recall that the human brain interprets images that are OOF around the edges as being a small-scale(miniature). Something to consider for the future, if you are aiming for a "life size" feel, would be increasing the aperture to get a larger DOF.

I like the shot regardless of perceived scale. Sometimes it's hard to find a sky that clear.
