Playing with my new wide angle

Never really shot with a wide angle, so just experimenting and having fun. Doing some different post processing also, again, just to experiment and have fun.

I think your processing makes sense with the image.
It's neat, but eye am drawn to the shoes the most, and feel maybe something could change a bit from having the body pretty much straight across the center ofvthe frame.

I used the tokina 12-24. I agree with the body across the image, but he's a 13 month old kid and he moves so much you kinda get whatever you can get in the few seconds i have to shoot when he's not picking something off the ground and trying to eat it. I had got the lens that day and just went for a walk with him to try it out and get out of the house. I wanted the shoot toward the foot and have that exaggerated because I have an idea in my head for a band i'm shooting soon and wanted to try to get the technique right with the lens before so I was just trying different angles to see what I got. thanks for the input. I don't post many of my pics anymore unless i'm trying new stuff

I almost believed the macabre until I saw the child grasping the 'weed', puts a plastic face on it. Otherwise, really cool setup, shot and PP.

lol....wasn't really much "setup" I placed him standing on the shade side to get out of the harsh light, he grabbed a branch and fell over................

Lol, I have the same problem with my son. Or he bolts and I have to chase him without droppin the camera.

Lol, I have the same problem with my son. Or he bolts and I have to chase him without droppin the camera.

yup!!!!...my son usually bolts toward me to grab my camera....i don't know how many shots I have of little fingers right next to the lens!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....The wide angle I just got makes that really fun because I don't realize just how close he actually is to my camera until I feel it get pulled away from my face!
