Playing with new lens (50mm 1.8G)

So I picked up my first non-kit lens. A 50mm 1.8G FX, using a Nikon D3200.

I mostly do product style photography but want to start capturing the kid more so thought this would be a good lens that I could do both with.

Just wanted to share a few quick shots from my first go at playing with it.

Elmo!!!! The little ones love him! The 50/1.8 G is a good lens to own, especially for owners of the 3xxx and 5xxx series bodies, since it has the in-lens AF-S focusing motor.

I had originally ordered the 50mm 1.8 without the motor and then realized my error. Luckily I was able to cancel and order this one.
