playing with the 50mm 1.8

My 1st lens with a decent aperature and my only prime. The sunset photo I should have had on a tripod, but I didn't have it with me. But none of my other lenses would have been able to take the photo at that point-it was pretty dark out. Zooming in I can see windmills in the distance. I also took this photo through some trees which I cropped out. This is Henderson Harbor/Lake Ontario. I like this lens. LOL-as I'm posting this I look up and there is a GORGEOUS sunset out there! Ugh!

A 50 is a good tool. It can be used in many situations.

Nice set. I could've used a 50 mm f/1.8 tonight when the sun was low. Been thinking about getting one, they're so inexpensive now.

A focal length that is often useful with either a 1.4x or a 2x teleconverter.
