Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hi everyone,
Went to an auto show last night and ended up taking some pictures with my Nikon D5100. Thought I would post them here and see what others think of them in general. I know I'm posting quite a few but I'm just looking for some general constructive feedback and on some general guidelines on how I can improve my pictures in these kind of applications. This is my first time sharing some photos for C&C, I know there is tons of room for improvement, but please don't destroy my self esteem lol. Anyways, thanks in advance!!

I like them. I like also that you didn't use the most common angles that people usually do use! Different perspective.

i have to agree with Courtney, nice job! My favorite is the classic, though I can see where you stopped the blur, top center just above the car, idk if intensional or not, but still a nice photo.

Thanks ATVrider. The blur was actually an intentional post processing effect in PSE. I felt the background was taking away from the clarity and sharp lines of the car, it was too busy and distracting, so I blurred it.

Very nice job. Yeah, love the fifth one too.

I like them a lot as well. Each car has a different angle and is appealing to the eye. #5 is my favorite. Good work.

These are great! I like the framing except where you cropped the air dam on the Challenger. You have done a very good job of controlling/utilizing the reflections. The main negative is that some photos look like they could use a little more light, particularly on the lower parts.

Thanks Designer. I appreciate your feedback. Yes I see what you're saying about more light, especially in the lower details. This was my first time shooting cars in these kind of lighting conditions in manual mode so I ended up under exposing most of these shots which I tried to correct in post processing in Elements. I didn't want to over illuminate the whole photo by trying to bring out details around the photos darker parts.

If you look close there is a persons hand in the montclair shot that makes for a really cool little surprise in the photo and actually looks kind of cool

Ohh hahaha. Just found it. I was looking for a reflection of the hand you're talking about but I just noticed it at the front. Had it not been for you, I would have never noticed it. Good eye and thanks!
