Here is an example I (quickly) whipped up, to show what I meant about the cut out with circular background. The extraction was quick & dirty, so don't pay too much attention to that. To really complete the pin up poster look, you would work the skin (and the rest) to have a slight drawn/cartoon feel. So very smooth skin, saturated colors etc.
