Hi, I'm new to the forums here and also relatively new to photography (been taken photos for a few weeks now). Could you guys take a look at some photos below and tell me what you think of them?

There are a few motor sport ones and a couple of radom ones

I'm a beginner so any constructive criticism is much appreciated

You're starting where most beginners start. The subject is there, but there's no quality of light, no composition, nothing that says you. Look for light, and when you find it, understand how to expose it. Then think about the true subject. Anyone can photograph a tractor. But what makes the image stand out? It has to be sharp. There should be elements of light. There should be some shape. Maybe the subject is the details of rust and wear. Nothing above the tractor adds interest to the image. Use the tractor as a study. Wait for light to hit it, and then find elements in that light that tell a story. Use light to illuminate and shadows to suggest. One of the most fascinating things in photography is not light but the absence of it. What does the absence "show?" Shadows, in fact, show a lot; they define, suggest, recede and form. If you watch the slideshow on my homepage, you'll get an idea of how light and shadows work together. Look at the great landscape images and notice light and shadow, and composition.
