Police Officer dies in motorcycle crash

A local motorcycle police officer was killed in an accident this week. This was the procession from the hospital to the funeral home.

im crying thinking about the tax money spent on this. I looked this up trying to find the cause, but it appears he might have just not been paying attention to where he was going. But he was in "the line of duty". Funeral procession. all this money, jeezus. People that die on bikes when it isn't their own fault don't get this kind of fan fare and cash spent on them. Glad I don't pay taxes in that town id be b.s.

Yes I myself ride and it's sad to hear. It's just getting into riding season here. I do ride in a few fundraiser events that the local police departments are involved in so I've gotten to know of few of these motorcycle officers.

well yeah. you see a father and son get hit and die on a bike of no fault of their own in just makes local news. Make it a cop not paying attention it becomes a 500k + affair. Im sure many would disagree with me, because they look at the individual in the case not the scope of how many people die on bikes a year with no fan fare and probably less responsibility for their own deaths. I had a buddy of mine die on a bike. I didn't see any large tax funded funeral procession for him. I wouldn't stir up the hornets nest and flak sending my address and honestly don't have large play in this. But rest assured, If this happened on my dollar where I live id be down the town hall and in the next town meeting id be b.s.
we have dead vets in the line of duty that don't get this that friggn funeral procession.
