My camera is just over a year old and has 9,730 on it. So whatever that would be a day. I don't shoot everyday though.

What’s a “roll”? Is that the name of some newfangled compact flash SDXCx1000 card or something? Where can one find these “rolls” for their cameras?

Apparently I'm averaging 20-25 a day. I've only had the camera going on 5 months. Granted, I did take over 600 pics back in June at an airshow which was shortly after getting the camera.

There are some sky line/landscape pics I'd like to take as I drive to work, but not sure how to exactly stop on I-95in the middle of rush hour and take them :mrgreen:

I just checked mine and I have averaged about 9.9 a day, since I got my dslr.

I work long hours so I tend to be a weekend shooter. When I have the chance I can easily take about 300-400 photos on a given Saturday or Sunday. Of course I don't have a lot of experience so many of the pics go in the trash bin arrrrrrr.

Don't worry - even when you get a lot better, you'll find that a good portion of your photos will still get binned

Come to think of it, that might be the more interesting question: of all the pictures you take, how many do you feel are keepers? For me, from each roll I get a handful of keepers, a handful of total crap, and the rest of it ranges from 'not horrible but not great' to 'almost there'. All of those middle pictures are instructive and useful to me, though, so I don't bin them.

only 10% of my pic I how to other people, the other 90% seen only by me. I do not throw away to trash bin though, still choose many and keep them in external hard drive. Just in case I may need them someday. There is no such day yet.

I'm doing a personal project (365) and I would say most days I shoot 200-300 frames. That would be personal photos.

Average, I'd say 5 or less a day. There are probably more days that I don't take any pictures at all than days I do. Sometimes I take a lot in one day (a lot would be 50 or so, haha), but usually it's less than 10.
