poor li'l flower

This sad looking rose was the victim of a lot of heat and very little water. It wilted within an hour of opening up. Guess I need to fix the sprinkler, eh?

Awww...poor little guy. Looks like a lot of the flowers around my yard at the moment. Nice shot.

To me the second shot seems the strongest. I like the background better. The stem plays more of a secondary roll. I love dead flowers. I think it is because of the Rolling Stones tune.

Well, either set up the sprinkler --- or the tripod, so you can catch more of your "garden friends" who come ........... and go within such a short while. You could "build them a monument" (in pixels) and mail it here! That'd make your poor li'l flower famous worldwide! Think about it! You know best how to photograph flowers!
