Whatever you buy, I reeeeeaaalllly advice against tripods with plastic mounts. I had one broke when my camera was on it, bad news.

Just search for Slik. It's a Japanese brand I think. I have one of its tripods for many years and it's done great so far.

That's a bit too small for me. My back would hurt from arching it forward after a couple of minutes using this.

How can i tell if a tripod is compatible with my camera?

Here is the head part, i have no idea if its compatible with the nikon d3200.

What are you talking about when you say too small? Did you notice that it extends to 64 inches which is 5 inches higher than the Manfrotto you listed?

As to head compatibility it's a common thread pattern.

I'm sorry, i think i misread it.

64 inch tripod would be the skeletal remains to the right. And i would be the skeletal remains on the left. his tripod suggestion is very good, but its a bit too small for my stature.

Lol, it's taller than the one you said you were going to get. Additionally, the camera sits on top of the tripod. It's about getting the tripod at the right height to take the photo. You need to realize this. JMHO.

It's starting to sound like one has to list out the requirements for the tripod, then make a selection if one can be found for the budget.

For $150USD (in the US) a nice and sturdy Slik 500DX with various head options can be purchased (along with other manufacturers), I'm not sure how tall it goes but it works great for my 5'6" skeletal with skin and muscle coverings. But it was above your original budget
