Back in early April I let my GF talk me into getting a cat. I was not opposed to having a cat, but I wasn't excited about the prospect either. Till I met this guy. At 6 months old he is already 10lbs, and according to the vet he has a good deal of Maine Coon in him. This translates to about 4 and a half more years of growth (dear god I hope it at least slows some). It also means a cat that will never really "grow up". He will maintain his kitten like disposition... aka a living wrecking ball. All in all he is an awesome cat though. He's very affectionate and playful, not one of those cats that just lays around all day. He's been good practice for me taking action shots. I don't really post them online because I don't want to come across like one of those crazy cat people lol, but this one I had to share.

That he is, in a good way. He is slightly confused though. He thinks he's a dog. Occasionally (on his terms) he'll play fetch, and he LOVES going for walks on the leash. And he is by far the most vocal cat I have ever seen. Of all the cats that I could have gotten... I just had to get the defective one lol.

Nice shot but your white balance is off. What should be white has a blue tint to it.

I had to share this. I decided to check out the video capabilities of my T2i so I shot some footage of my better half playing with the wrecking ball... errr I mean cat this evening. I've never shot video at all (not even with a camcorder) so I know it's a bit shaky and the focus could use some work. I do have to say this: There is a payoff for watching the whole two and a half minutes. At about 2:15 make sure you are not ingesting liquids
