Portrait session C&C Please

Hello again. I did a family portrait session for some friends last night. I used available light and a reflector. I used the gold and silver sides of the reflector. I think in hindsight the white side would of been the best choice.

Oh well hindsight is 20/20. Please let me know what you think. And what I did wrong.

I find the gold creates an extremely warm light and the Silver a nice contrasty light but I feather both and place the reflectors far from the subjects. The white is a beautiful soft light but must be fairly close.


#1 I would play with the crop, bring up the shadow a bit. I think his face is a bit under-exposed.

#2 is my favorite. Good exposure, nice light,clear focus on the eyes, great expression. Good job.
