Portrait: which crop?

Charlie: I'm out of step most of the time, but I like close portrait crops like this one. :mrgreen: Adds intimacy.

Mark: I think the model has a high forehead, and the light falling here may indeed be accentuating that.

thanks for the replies again. Although I'm still just as confused :lol:

Markc: the focal length was 59mm. I think the fact she is squinting slightly and looking upwards abit, is emphasizing the forehead somewhat. Also think your right that it needs more light on the face.
 
I really prefer #1 also because I agree with what Big Mike said.
 
Random and not so technical comment... I like number 1 because her head seems much more in proportion...Her head seems a bit oversized in the second shot. But that may only be because I see them together.

Beautiful modle though...so you can't go wrong wither way...
