My goal is to develop my lighting skills in mixed lighting.

My friend Julie during a rather fun and hammmy session, though this one was a serious face.

Bare 580 EX II hand-held camera left high, triggered by Mini PWs. Flash set to -2/3 Flash comp, Camera set +1 Exposure comp.

here is my first. I was away from home with no laptop or internet so I didn't get to play with it was much and had to "settle" I guess you could say.

I have no real "goal" for what this will help me with or accomplish, I would just like to find an area of photography that I like the most.
