I took this last weekend. It's been a while since I've done any IR photos, thought I might try it on this.

Edit
The pots & deck look red because they are. I did not convert this to greyscale (I usually do with IR, but I think I like this better), so there is still some red in it (the whole thing was red, obviously, before WB).


(Taken with 70-200 f/4L) <-- no hot spots w/ IR

Usually, with IR, my first step is to convert to greyscale. For some reason I did it a little differently this time. I think I like it more this way (maybe not for all IR photos, but this one at least). Just a hint of color.

how exactly do you take IR photos if u don't have a filter? can it be done via photoshop?

You can't.

You can fake it in photoshop, but I don't think it looks quite the same. Some of them do look pretty good though.
