Scenerio is on a boat, was on extended trip so only traveled with one lens (18-105).
First one is Soft on eyes I'm thinking it was me here as he was pretty still.

I'm sure my sis will love but I'm just blah with these.

Not bad. #1 is my favorite, although whatever he's laying his head on is blown out.

I like 1,3 and 4 very much
In #1 I feel that the eyes are a bit soft, but it doesn't bother me much, since the expression is beautiful (I just saw you mentioned this too )
in #2 I like the least because of the lighting.. the fill flash was a bit strong here (anyway I get that idea)
#3 is perfect and #4 very good overall (maybe a bit of center would be best)
