Hi!!!!

I have an old pradovid, it works well, but the problem is that after about 5 minutes, the device turns off and I think it is because it gets very hot. The fan works well. How could i fix it? Could you replace the lamp with a led lamp? Thanks

Cheers

Does sound like it is shutting down due to overheating. First thing to do is make sure everything inside is clean of dust/dirt. Even a fine film of dust on the bulb or fan blades can cause overheating. Also check the power cord, if it is very dry or has any cracks it will need to be replaced.

The bulb and the fan are clean, but the rest of the pieces have a lot of rust. Please, take a look to this pictures, thanks! What should I do?

Lamp replacement would be a DIY thing...never heard of it being done, but that doesn't mean it couldn't be...knowlede and skill would be critical.

The bulb and the fan are clean

Then it could be the thermal safety switch. Only way to tell if it is resettable, there will be a red button somewhere inside, I assume near the power supply.

The rust does look bad but I don't think it's the overheating problem. I personally would take it all apart and remove the rust.
