Praying Mantis

I found this guy on my kitchen table last night when i got back home from work. I don't have a macro lens (I am planning to buy some close-up filters though) so i got as close as i could. This is my first insect shot so C&C would be appreciated.

Thanks! I too thought he was saying cheese! It was amazing to see his eyes following and studying me as I moved around him, it gave me the impression that i was photographing a very intelligent insect.

Wooowww! I love this photo. The creature looked like he knows that you are taking a photo of him and just faced towards the cam.
