I watched a pair of energetic fawns playing like little puppies this morning.
It was very entertaining! ....and very challenging to shoot!

Even adult deer will play very energetically when they come together in a group on occasion. It is very entertaining to watch. I bet you really had a show from the fawns. Nice one.

11 years ago I watched a Fawn Nascar race at Yellowstone once. They were doing this running / jumping circuit in an oval. They did it for over 5 minutes. Loads of pictures from it. I got some pretty good jumping pictures of them going over a log.

It might have gone on longer. But some people came up and decided they wanted to get closer. Up until then, others came up and stayed the same distance and was quiet. But these yo yo's though they would just walk straight towards them. Wasn't 5 steps and the mom grunted, and it was over.
