Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hello,

I have to print (by lab) a photograph of my baby, actual size was 50"x38" and I have edited it to 24"x20".

They offer Matte/Glossy/Luminous/Metallic (all Kodak) and Lustre (Epson) photo finish.

Would you please, by your own experience, suggest the best printing finish from above?

Thanks,

Vijay Kumar.

It's mostly personal preference.
The actual photo might lend itself better to one over another, not to mention how you plan to finish & display it.

Either way, for a print that large, I'd suggest having it mounted on something by the lab.

My lab also uses Kodak paper and I usually use their Luster finish paper. However, the metallic paper really gives it a 'WOW' factor.l

Matte paper has a softer, perhaps more artistic quality than glossy, but does not give you the deep, rich blacks. I sometimes opt for Epson Luster, which is part way between.

I agree, Epson Luster might work better for these kind of shots. Have fun!

Have to lean toward the Epson Luster as well. I like the Metallic papers for some shots to really bring another level of "pop" to it, but for portraits I really, really like the Epson Luster.
