Prints from PS too dark??

is there a setting ive got wrong??

my photos printed on premium glossy photo paper, and on top settings on printer great quality...superb in fact, but really dark?

Is your monitor calibrated?

Is your printer profiled?

my monitor is calibrated.... and my printer is profiled, in that its in the list.

i will try another selection, and do a test print.

but not a full A4 colour print this time ...Doh!!

You need a better profile that is matched to your own exact printer and paper. Generic profiles may not always be good enough.

What is your monitor calibrated with? A spyderII?
