I finally feel like I have a couple of shots that are worthy of paying quite a bit of money to get prints of. Of the ones here that do have companies that make prints for you which companies would you all recommend? I have a picture that I can easly get a 48x11 at 300dpi. Because it's not the normal size and it's a rather large print what would be a good price to get a High Res picture out of it? I ask this because if I find a company that can do the prints for me and they ask for lets say... $150.00 and you all usually get a similar picture printed at say $79.99 then I know I'll have to find another company to do me prints.

I'm based in the UK and would expect to pay nowhere near $150! Try www.mpix.com. THey get rave reviews for quality in the US

I've only gotten prints on the Kodak Endura and Metallic papers. If you have a picture with saturated colors and/or sharp details, 30"x20" on the Kodak Metallic is the shizl!, err, I mean, 'really nice'.

I'm aiming to try Fuji Supergloss/Fujiflex next; it's supposed to be super glossy and super saturated.

I've got some really nice prints printed at 30x20 on plain ol' Endura paper that look really nice.

If you want a quick fix on big prints, find your favorite recent pic, and have MPix print it out at 30x20 on the metallic...that should give you some inspiration.

I hope that helps...
