Problem Flower

I'm not sure about this flower. I don't have a problem with the general flower, but the focus. The petals are in focus, and the white fluffy thing in the center is in focus. But I think that the green center portion is not? But it might be an optical illusion because of the angle and the lines that lead into the center?

Is the focus on the center too distracting? Does it give a general out of focus feel to it?

That was actually the part that drew me into the picture! All the lines in the flower seem to be pointing, quite starkly, to this one really soft area...I don't know, I think it works!
