problems with printing

Could you tell us specifically what is off on your prints?

- Color?
- Fuzziness?
- Brightness?
- Other?

You said you are printing the JPEGs, yes?

I can't see any reason to think there is something wrong with your camera if the images look fine to you on-screen.
the color...they dont "pop out"...they look very washed out

I had the same problem with my Canon mx310 printer. When I went to print I went into the print properties and went to the advanced tab. From there I could chose what quality I wanted the printer to print and size for fitting to paper what type of paper I was using such as matte, glossy, ect... Try that and see what happens. Hope that helps you out.

P.S. I always have to go back into the advanced tab in properties cause the printer goes back to default settings. Im sure there is a way on my printer to save my presets but I didnt take the time to look....lol

Hm. Sounds like a monitor calibration difference, except that your images do not look washed out to me, and my monitor is calibrated. Try sending a picture of yours to MPIX and have them print it. Cost your like $2 for a test.
