Product or way to minimize LCD discoloration?

Don't know if it would be worth it to try to find a local camera store to replace the LCD.

I am not going to say that this is in fact what the problem is, but the more I looked at this the more I realized I had seen this before.

The discoloration that I see in the photos looks like sun damage.
The camera may have been left in the raw sunlight.

LCD burn or excessive heat.

I would not worry or obsess too much over it...I see some scratching...a little "wear and tear"..the 50D is what? 8 to 10 years old? Expected wear. IMHO.

The LCD won't affect picture quality.
