Product Shots

h'okay. Theres this guy here with a clothing company, and I'm helping him get started. I've made him a site and I'm making 2 other ones for different parts of the company. He also wants me to take some product shots for the site and advertising and what not.

How much should I charge for a day of taking product shots?
And how should go about taking them?

And a non photo related question....

How much for the websites.
Im making them all in flash, and I've been working on them for a couple of months.

I can't give you absolute numbers - it depends on your expertise,
on your clients needs and the going rates in your area. This is
valid for both jobs (product shots and web design).

How much do you want/need to make a year? bottom line.
divide this by 200 and you have your day rate. Divide the day
rate by 8 and you have your hourly rate.

For product shots I break this down into a price for one product
image to make it transparent for the client. Bottom line here:
how many shots can I get in an hour (including basic Photoshop work)

For web design I break it down to pages. How many pages does
this site have? How many hours do I need for every page?

simple as that...
