Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Not much time left in this day, so any help is appreciated!

Hi guys,

I have been taking a "creative" self portrait once a day since January 1st.
Tonight I came up with this idea.

I still have everything setup so I could try re-shooting.

Also, I shoot RAW so I can edit more per comments.

What am I missing here, or what could help it?

I think it would look better if the background was completely oof so you can only see you in the wine glass... Also have you tried a couple drops of food coloring in the water?

It's underexposed
The crop doesn't do anything for me. I'm trying to figure out how I would have framed it... maybe portrait orientation with the entire glass in frame with a manual focus. I'd also experiment with trying to get less distortion in the face from the glass by trying different angles.

Kudos for the creativity though, that's the way you really learn.

Thanks, everything you said I have been toying with.
It's so hard to shoot by yourself, so it was a lot of trial and error.

You're right though, I'm going to try again and see if I can get a sharper focus in the glass.

Looks like I'll have to try again tomorrow with a friend to have a seat.
This is really hard. haha.
Took about 40 more shots, and just can't get it perfect.

I'd love that, however my D200 doesn't have live-view. :(

But instant review display could possibly work.
Thanks for the link, I'll read some more.

It lists the D200 as compatible, so it's worth doing some research (for $20).
