Promise of Spring

Went out in the yard today and noticed a couple Crocus. First flower that's bloomed out there so far. Hopefully it's a promise of warmer weather ^^

Its funny how the first flowers in the garden in spring make you ITCH to take their photo, isn't it? I couldn't hold on to myself when I had detected our first crocuses, either, see here:

that's a cool shot, i love the spring color emerging out of the lifeless leaves/environment... i am wishing the sticks/branches weren't in front of the flowers, but i still really like the shot... :thumbup:
