Hi all!
I just got into this fabulous world of dslr photography. I have the Canon T3i kit plus the 55-250 telephoto lens.

Now I was wondering, I am a person who changes the lenses quite often, and I have read about the wear and tear of the part that connects it to the camera. Is there something I should be investing in as I almost regularly change my lens?

Thanks for the help!

Okay thanks!! I'm too chicken to handle two lenses at once! I sit down with lots of space near me and gently change um.

I'm usually more worried about where I'm changing the lenses.

Do not change lenses outside while in a sand storm. Do not change lenses while running a combine in wheat or oats. Do not change lenses while raking hay. Do not change lenses while cooking bacon, or deep-fat frying chicken or tater tots. Do not change lenses after having more than 10 beers. Do not change lenses in the open while walking along the surf-line of the Pacific or Atlantic oceans, or the Gulf of Mexico. Those are my own personal rules. Changing lenses is like taking the plastic off of a brand-new computer monitor...you wanna' protect it, and keep the new in...but ya' just gotta' do it! Do not worry about changing lenses.

Shoot, I've changed lenses standing on one leg, surrounded by flailing drunken idiots with booze in their hands.

I'm surprised I HAVEN'T busted a lens yet.

Why does the the term "Pole Dancing" come to mind?

Just kidding of course.
