I'm not quite sure about if I understand what you mean.

If you refer to the 'hard' white clouds, it's due to the high luminosity contrast between the strongly shining day in background when compared to the shadow area of the models.
Shot was taken with an UWA, no flash, at f/2.8.
Maybe I should remove those clouds !

I you refer to the models 'glow' it was intentionally created using the NG plugin (The Gimp).
I like the effect very much but I'm aware that, in some monitors (in particular if not calibrated), it may cause some strange look.

I believe oldmacman is talking about the halo around the two figures.

Since you used no flash, my guess is that you did some dodging to lighten them up but did not stay within the lines...

Exactly ! NG plugin includes dodging.
In my monitors it doesn't seem exaggerated !

The 'glow' is much more obvious on a BW conversion.

When you are going to pump up the sat and detail on a figure against the sky or a wall , it is better to isolate that figure on a layer with the original sky or wall left on the base layer.

Um, if you like it why did you change it? Your opinion matters the most. If this is a personal picture for your own personal use then I would have left it at that and then watched out for it in the future. Not a big deal, I am just sayin Cute capture though
