Went to a festival back home and of course had to go the rodeo. This is one of my favorite shot I got. Let me know what you think and if you know anything I could change in post to improve it let me know.

I would try dodging the horse just a bit to brighten it up a little.

Definitely better; if you have an application such as Lightroom, the NiK Suite, or Capture NX2 with selective adjustment capability, that would be your best bet.

I love rodeos.

Perhaps this is extreme, but I'd try cropping to give the woman's face and the horse more emphasis. I don't think the whole horse or flag need be included for the image to work.

That's an interesting take, and I think it works, but it really changes the overall "mood" and story of the photo, imo. Don't get me wrong, I like the crop, I just think it makes a different photo than the original.
To keep it more along the lines of the original, I think I'd crop it into a portrait orientation and cut out a lot of the extra space on the right side, but leave the entire horse and flag in the scene.

Thank you. And I agree, it changes things to the point of it being a different photo.
