PS Camera Raw

So, my friend picked up a my camera and took a few shoots. Then, he imported them into PS using the camera raw pug-in.

After playing for a few minutes, he discovered that you could increase the size right from the dialog. So, he took to the maximum dimension (in this case 6144x4085).

What we noticed was cool. the sharpness and delatil wasn't bad. Noise wasn't excellent, but it was passable.

And then later on I realized that my camera was set to ISO 1600!

So now I'm playing. I wouldn't recommend going to max dimensions that on a fine detail image (More testing will show), but for landscapes you might be able to increase the image size for oversized prints.

I also heard that other programs made specifically for raw formats might handle this better.
