Yeah, I think I need to find a new developer for this film. A contrasty film (Rollei Retro 400S) in a contrasty developer (Rodinal)...

Sometimes it works very well, but more often than not, it's just too much.


I have a bag of Mic-X (Microdol-X clone) - which I have never used before, and a bag of Xtol, which I have never used with this film. Not sure which I should try first...

(I also have T-Max Dev and Diafine.)

I have actually used Xtol with this film. It didn't look bad. I'll have to mix that bag up tomorrow.
