Quantaray QB6500A flash on a Nikon D40?

Does anyone have this set up? I just want to know if this flash would fry the camera or not, thanks!!!! That and how do you like that flash? We just found it in a box while we cleaning out the house.

Not using that setup but I did a google search and it seems as though you should be alright. I prefer the SB600 but you're probably choosing that flash because of cost. Anyway, yes it will work according to what I read.

Great choice on your camera, but don't bother with that cheap quantaray crap.

Consider the perfectly acceptable SB400 or shell out a few extra bucks for the SB600
