Hi guys,

I was just wondering if anyone knows what that cable is called that lets you sync your camera with your computer. It lets you see the image instantly on your computer after you take it. I have a D60 and I'm not sure if its available for it. I would like to know what its called and which camera it works with.

thanks

It's the same cable that came with your camera, you just need the correct software to do it, Nikon Camera Control Pro or one of several free versions out there.

Yep usb is the way this is done. One of the things you would need to do for this to work is change the camera so it appears as a camera, rather than a USB mass storage device. I don't know if this is needed as of late, it seems Nikon droped mass storage as an option for many new cameras, but on the D200 it was under the settings and needed to be set to USB-ptp. Once that is done Camera Control Pro can talk directly to the camera.
