Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Sorry for a possibly stupid question, but...

I'm looking at getting the Epson P-3000 or P-5000, but the information on the Amazon page just says it works with CF I and II; will it work with CF III? If not, can anyone recommend a good portable storage device? I'm going to be out of the country for a week and I'll feel safer if I can back up my photos.

One thin is there is no such thing as CF III.
There is ony CF Type I or CF Type II.
If your card is en Extereme III, that is still a type II card.

As for me I am using an Asus Aspire One laptop. 9" Screen, very light and you can backup via CF Card reader, and view them on a larger screen. It is a full functioning laptop, all be it a small one. You can get them with a 120 gig hard drive and windows XP. Works great as a media player as well for long flights or bus trips. the best part is thet it cost a few hundred less than the epson unit.

Thanks! I know very little about CF cards.

Picked up the P-3000 for about $210 shipped on Ebay (after the M$ cashback). I do have a laptop but I wanted something less bulky while I'm traveling overseas next January.
