Currently I own Nikon AF-S Nikkor 19-200mm 1:35-5.6 G II ED DX & Nikon AF NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8D

should I buy Nikon 18mm - 55mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S DX (VR) Vibration Reduction Wide Angle Autofocus Zoom Lens

Need feed back?

Would make no sense to get the 18-55 if you have the 18-200 already.

If the lenes that you are thinking that you have is in fact a Nikon 18-200mm DX f/3.5-5.6 ED VR II Lens, then I would say no.

If you are looking to get a new lenes, then go with a faster one.

Ditto here. Go invest in something faster.

Need more info. And do what with it?

It will be lighter than you 18-200 but the 18-55 has a much shorter focal range.

As it is now, when you have the 18-200 set at 55mm you have a wider aperture than the f/5.6 you'll have at 55mm with the shorter lens.

So you lose a little lens speed and only gain a little less weight to aim by getting the 18-55.

I would recommend buying the 18-55mm, selling the 18-200 and putting that money towards getting an AF 80-200 f/2.8D if you have a body that can auto focus it.
