Question about technique, vintage photo..

ksmattfish - thank you for that. What camera-adjustments do you think they use then? to get just that depth of field and such?

DOF is made shallower by:

increasing aperture size (decreasing the f/#, smaller f/# = bigger aperture)
increasing focal length
decreasing focusing distance
increasing format size

All the rest is most likely done in processing (unless they adapted an old lens or used something like a plunger lens).
 
#5: decreased saturation or vibrance, low contrast, shallow DOF

#6: shallow DOF, toned (many ways to do this)

#8: heavy vignette, warm color cast (1 hour before sunset and 1 hour after sunrise is called the "golden hour")

#9: see #5, add texture layer (maybe #5 and #7 have it too, I didn't look too hard)
