Question about which lens to use

A small bag that fit
One cropped body mounted with Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8

I may add the following
One flash
One prime (depends on my mood either a 85mm or 100mm macro) or
70-200mm f/4

Thanks for everyone's input. My 55-250mm seems like it just doesn't work all the time for walking around and I don't feel like I use my 18-55mm as well. I am really considering going to something like the 18-1XXmm or something like this.

Would it be best to rent a few lens and try them before deciding?
