Question for any Zeiss ZF users

I have an 85 ZF.2 - never having owned a ZF line lens.

Have the option of saving $400 and getting a 50 Makro secondhand in very good condition. Can anyone tell me what are the differences between ZF.2 and the original ZF line?

ZF.2's have electronic contacts that talk to the body. Otherwise sit acts like ais lenses.
