Question for flower people

Close friends of mine lost their daughter a few days ago. I can't be there, but want to order some flowers. Something not about sorrow yet not about happiness either. Just something that will help them feel better. What do you suggest?

Definitely elegant, but I think I'd want to have a tint of warm colors as well. I don't want something in the house that just reminds them of their lost. I guess I will look into colored variants of the spider mums.

Since the flowers are for a daughter, I'd suggest something feminine. Maybe a pretty vase of different colored pastel roses, all cut the same length. The look is very elegant. Another idea is a white basket of hydrangea blooms.

i called a local florist and happened that they know my friend and know the situation, so the lady suggested orchid.

Actually I wanted it for the parents. I hope they feel better about the situation as opposed to locking themselves to the sorrow.
