question for the moderators

Hopefully none of you take offense to me asking this but i was just thinking to myself today about how much i try to be on the forums and make comments and participate but with two jobs neither of then photography it gets hard to do. So i was just wondering how you guys find time to post and comment on so many posts (which is really cool and helpful) with your schedules?

I'm not a mod here, but I am on two other forums, so I can speak from experience.

1. It helps to be fantastically wealthy and not have a job. However, since I'm not and have to work for a living, I find the time when I can.
2. Some mods are not sitting at a desk. They're on a smart device somewhere and can still 'do their job' with a tablet or Smartphone.
3. I doubt all the mods are on the forum 24/365. They may show up as being on-line, but that may be simply because they're sleeping and their computer is still turned on.

Note that the moderators live in various places on the planet.
Overread usually gets first crack at the forums by being in the UK.
Tirediron is in western Canada and usually gets the last look.

Keep in mind that some of the mods are not from this planet. We won't mention any names (terri). We would tell you where they are from but then they would have to kill you. :lmao:

Sometimes we can hang out, sometimes we just do fly-bys. Embarrassingly enough, since I quit my desk job I have found less time to post.

But we all like to make time, simply because we're also members here who love photography, as well as being icky old moderators who have to nag about rules and such. :razz:

I only work 10 days a month. And when I am at work I can access the forum on my phone between patients.

I would hope that if I am rich enough to have ample amounts if free time, spending it on an online forum is the last thing on earth I would do.
