Questions about light trails

Took this last night while driving around. I'm not over thrilled with how it looks. I like all the trails in the shot but the colors or something seems off. What kind of things do you usually try to include or look for when doing shots like these?

I tried to go somewhere elevated and overlooking the street but sadly there aren't many places like this in Mansfield. The first place I went I was told to leave by guys who race because they thought I was filming them.

Just my un professional opinion. I would delete the power lines and power pole via Photoshop. They take away from the photo.

I tried to get them out but I would have had to zoom in more which would lose a lot of the shot. I will take them out later. They bug me as well.
