R.I.P. Dave Brubeck

Although I was into Rock N Roll back in the 60's and 70's ..... yes, and still am today but with an emphasis on the Blues, I certainly enjoyed Brubeck. When I was out and about at the audiophile stores to "test drive" the latest components, I always carried my vinyl copy of Time Out as the Gold Standard for pure musical sound and craftsmanship. It was the only way to really test out a pair of speakers.

Dave got me really into jazz and opened up a whole new world for me.

He got me started on jazz as well. In 10th grade, my piano prof gave me Blue Rondo Ala Turk and Take Five to learn. The rest is history...
