R-Strap R-5 question

Anyone using an R-Strap? I just bought one and absolutely love it! Question though. It has a pocket that allows you to carry extra memory cards. There are 2 magnets on the strap to make sure the pockets stay closed. Can these magnets affect my memory cards in any way?

The memory card is not magnetic like a magnetic disk drive. It's solid state memory (transistors).

I have an RS-2 and my pocket uses velcro, but it was designed for a cell phone. Love the strap, use it nearly every day.

Another RS-4 user here, but like KmH said, the magnets will not affect flash memory.
