Rahmel and I also were high school buddies. He is a singer, actor, song writer. Let's just say he is very talented and is going to go places. Well me and him linked up for a shoot and I'd like to share a few photos.

yes, I'm hesitated as to posting because they are very different from your normal portraits. I'm assuming the TPF members will either like them or hate them.

I can give you my thoughts from a photography noob. I kind of love the last shot, and I totally love the scarf thing. The first is a beautiful location and I love the facial expression, but I can't wrap my head around the pose. Some part of my brain said "invisible motorcycle" and now I can't get rid of that image.

That's my 2 cents anyways.

Is he dancing like a pirate in the first? He certainly does have a consistent expression.

Thank you for the feedback, he is a dancer and wanted some shots that looked like he was dancing. Others we went a very interesting and one of a kind pose. WE didn't want the normal portrait. We wanted some feeling to it.

I like the idea and the compositions.

What I don't like is the light quality. It's harsh bare bulb lighting that leaves ugly background shadows and takes away any modeling on his features, he's got a face that you could have gotten a lot more out of. It seems like they could have used benefitted from some modifiers or at least a gel or two to add something to it.

Tony they all were shot with. b800 and a 22 inch silver beauty dish with a sock on it. It was in a dark warehouse. Had to make do.
