From two images shot 10Jul08. Finally got a chance to work them together into a panorama. Had to do manually. Photostitch couldn't cope.

40D EF-S 17-85 lens at 17mm, manual focus, manual exposure, ISO 200, 1/60sec at f/9. Levels, curves, cropped in PS CS2.

Great combo of the rainbow, and that wonderful light on the peaks. Well done
 
where the images taken at different times? I only ask because the arch of the rainbow is not continuous. Around 1 o'clock it changes position.

Taken within moments of each other, and curiously, that's not where the join between the two lies. That discontinuity is just what was there. The join is a little to the right of that. For a brief moment, there had been a double rainbow.
 
Awesome scene, beautiful soothing colours, perfect timing! (Would have liked to have been able to see more of the trees/village on the bottom for context, but that's just me :))
